Overweight/Oversized Loads

County Permits are required for overweight/oversized loads.

Please plan your moves at least 3 business days in advance for processing. We utilize Oxcart Permits – fill out an application via www.oxcartpermits.com.

County roads are posted at 70% of the Gross Vehicle Weight Limit from February 1st to May 1st every year.

Year-Round 80,000 lb Truck Routes Include:

• County Highway 15 – North Valley Road (west of IL Route 40 to Stark County)
• County Highway 5 – Western Road (west of 1000E)
• County Highway 5 – Western Road (east of 1225E)
• County Highway 12 – Tax School Road
• County Highway 4 – Toluca Blacktop
• County Highway 7 – Yankee Lane (south of IL Route 17)

During road postings, overweight loads may be allowed on a case by case basis.
